Wow what a night of boxing, we are so proud of all 3 of our fighters tonight! All 3 showing incredible heart courage and determination! Everyone trained hard and put their heart into the fights!
Ross as usual showing his toughness came out so strong it looked like he was going to stop his opponent in the first round. Unfortunately, mid second round his opponent caught him with a cracking right hand that put Ross down for a second. Althought he was straight back to his feet his vision wasn’t quite right so had to stop there.
Danielle was up next facing a Suffolk punch fighter. Danielle started very well indeed, jabbing and moving, constantly making her opponent work hard to try and land a punch. She used her reach to her advantage throughout the fight and being as fit as she is, kept on the go the whole fight. A unanamous win for our girl.
Last up for Mamba was Liam making his boxing debut. This fight was amazing. Both fighters as fit as anything and went for it from the bell. I don’t think anyone in the room thought these two could keep that pace going for the whole three rounds but they were wrong. Tom landed some good shots but Liam always came back with his combination punches and his work rate was unbelieveable. This was one hell of a way to make a debut and to top it off this fight was named fight of the night.
We are so lucky to have an incredible team, Thank you all for your support, incredible atmosphere, you all brought the noise tonight! 2 of the 3 fights were a win for Mamba and Liam and his opponent picked up fight of the night! Great show.
